Happy Unbirthday!

Recently we have been practicing writing sentences using correct punctuation and spelling and the neatest of printing. We also made a questionnaire, while learning that thinking of others is sometimes more important than thinking about ourselves. We had to make important decisions and try to see from the perspective of others.

What was this important learning task? It was making a card for our Secret Unbirthday buddy! It was so much fun to see the students rise to the challenge of creating a card that their secret Unbirthday buddy would enjoy, based on a secret survey.

We had great fun exchanging Valentine's cards and eating our unbirthday treats.
