Student Led Conferences are next week. This is a great opportunity to see first hand what your child is learning - and how they learn. For example, do you know how to conduct a Grand Conversation to help with comprehension skills? Your child does; we have been practicing for the last few weeks, ready for our Flex Groupings for Reciprocal teaching.
Please make sure your child attends the conferences with you as they will be your tour guide. By watching and listening to them, you will know exactly what your child is already doing well on and what they need support with. A picture is worth a thousand words, which is what the blog does, but seeing for yourself is worth so much more:)
If you forget your child, you will have to go home to collect them!!
So far only 7 families have signed up. For some reason, this time I cannot see which families have signed up and which have not, so will not be able to give personal reminders. Make sure you sign up. Ask me for help, if you require.
